Okay, so this is a short stroy/dream I had last year, but I modified it to fit to something that happened to a really good friend of mine. Tell me what you think :)

She could see how happy Selena was with Nick. Miley hated how Selena thought she was all that. In her own eyes she was pretty, smart, funny, and always smiling, well, the smiling part is pretty accurate. But in Miley's eyes she wasn't worthy of Nick. Miley felt guilty about her strong feelings for Nick. She has Liam. To her he is the sweetest and would never want to hurt him.

"So Nick," Selena said looking at him.

"Yeah?" he asked looking back at her.

"I'm ready glad we figured everything out."

Selena was smiling, as usual. Miley was standing at the end of the hall watching them. But then Nick's eyes met hers. She felt her heart stop. It took all the strength she had to break away from his stare. He looked back at Selena and said: "Yeah, I'm glad we did too."

"I have to go, but can I get a quick kiss goodbye?"

She turned away letting a few tears roll down her cheeks. As she was about to walk away she felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned away quickly pulling herself back together to see Nick.

"Hey." He said.

"Hi." She said with her best fake smile.

"What's wrong?" He asked putting his hand back on her shoulder.

Miley hated how he could see right through her. "Nothing's wrong." She said trying to move past him. But she should have known she wouldn't have been able to get away so easy. He grabbed her waist and wouldn't let her go.

"Nick!"

"Just tell me what's going on. I want to help."

"Why? Since when do you actually care?"

"Because I do."

He was staring deep into my eyes as he spoke.

"Why?" Miley asked unable to break away from his gaze.

"I know this has taken me a long time to say but…you're—"

"Stop. Don't say it."

"Why?" He asked taking a step forward.

"I don't want to hear what you don't mean."

"But I do mean it."

"How can I be so sure?"

"Because." He said before closing the gap between them and kissing her.

Yes...this is the end...this is where he always left my friend hanging.

Don't you just love those kind of guys?
