Dylan walks into the staff room after seeing sam running into it, she was sobbing

Dylan: Sam what's the matter?
Sam: *wipes up tears* Nothing I'm okay, I just have to go back to work
Dylan: *grabs her from around her waist* No sa-
Sam: *groans in pain* Dylan, Let go of me please
Dylan: *sits sam down on the sofa* Okay show me the injury *said in a concerned voice*
Sam: *pulls up shirt* It's nothing...
Dylan: It's just a bruise, what happened?
Sam: *looks away* I don't know? I probably tripped...
Dylan: Right if you have any more pain you come and see me okay?
Sam: Okay...

Iain is drunk, he came to the ambulance station to find Sam

Iain: *slurring* Babeee
Sam: Iain its not even 5 pm, and your drunk, what's the matter?
Iain: How dare you assume I'm drunk!
Sam: Because you're slurring your words, and your aggressive *starts walking to the front of the ED*
Iain: I am not drunk! *slaps her hard enough for Sam to blackout*
Iain: Get up you slag!
Dylan: *notices that Sam is collapsed* IAIN GET AWAY FROM HER! CAN I GET SOME HELP OVER HERE PLEASE?
Ruby & Jan: *comes running over with the crash trolley* What happened? *puts sam on the trolly*
Dylan: Iain is clearly hammered, and he took out his anger on her!
Jan: Iain hit Sam? *has a shocked look on her face*
Dylan: Yes, that scum ran away...

Entering the ED

Jan: This is Samantha Nicholls, 28 years old, BP is 90/ 60, She blacked out at the scene hasn't woken up since!
Connie: Do we know what happened?
Jan: Ask Dr. Keogh!
Connie: Dylan?
Dylan: Iain took out his anger on her, He slapped her a bit too hard.
Connie: Oh my...Let's get her to resus
Sam: *opens eyes* What happened? where am I?
Dylan: You're in resus, don't worry your safe now.
Sam: Where's Iain?!
Dylan: He isn't around, don't worry, security has been told to not let him near you!
Sam: What? Why? He's my Boyfriend!
Dylan: He slapped you, that's the reason why you blacked out!
Sam: He didn't!
Dylan: I saw you fall, Sam...

In the staff room

Iain: Look I'm sorry, for hitting you last time...It won't happen again, I swear!
Sam: It's fine, I convinced the others that I passed out, out of stress due to work...
Iain: Good...
Sam: I want to break up with you...
Iain: No sam, you can't do that to me...

Dylan walks in

Iain: *pushes sam up against lockers, is strangling her*
Dylan: *punches Iain of Sam* CAN I GET SECURITY IN HERE NOW PLEASE!
Iain: *runs away*
Sam: Dyl- *collapses*
Dylan: *catches sam in time* Sam, sam please don't do this to me...
Connie: What happen- Sam!
Dylan: We need to watch the CCTV, Iain strangled her!
Sam: *comes around, coughs* I should have told you sooner *bursts out in tears and hugs Dylan*
Dylan: *Hugs her closely* It's okay, I'm here now...
Sam: I broke up with him, that's why he *cries*
Dylan: Oh sam *sighs and hugs sam*
