Hey this is my second fanfic about one of my favorite parings! POTHENA! Heres the first part. Hope ya enjoy!

I was sitting on my throne on Olympus bored out of my mind during a council meeting. You would find that weird considering I am the wisdom goddess. During this boring time I see the god of the sea staring at me. Yes me. Since this doesn't happen on a regular basis I decided to ask him why.

Why are you staring at me? I asked in my mind

After a minute of waiting I get a response that sound like this.

What makes you think I was staring at you?

Why are boys are such idiots sometimes (AN: Sorry if I offended any guys out there but most guys I know are idiots)

Well you are looking right at me with a dazed look on your face. I got him there.

Uh…well you see I was…Unforchently I couldn't hear the lame excuse the seaweed brain was about to make because my oh mighty father called me.

" Athena, what are your thoughts on this topic?"

Oh crap since I was so caught up in my own conversation with Poseidon I forgot about this council meeting.

" I am sorry Father but I didn't hear what the topic was on. Could you please repeat it?"

Before my father could repeat the topic Ares, being an idiot like always, says,

" In all my life I have never seen Athena be this unfocused at a meeting! I mean she's acting so stupid!"

I can't believe Ares just said that! I mean yeah I have been unfocused but there is no reason to call me stupid! I AM THE GOODESS OF FREAKING WISDOM! Just because I have one bad day in my 3 thousand year life doesn't mean I am stupid. As I was just about to turn him in to a cute little bunny rabbit Poseidon spoke up.

" Ares why are you harassing Athena? I mean we have all had our bad days. Today just seems to be hers so, would you please shut the frig up or I will turn you in to a cute little bunny. We all know you will love to be turned into a bunny."

I was speechless. None has ever done anything so nice to me before.

" Council dismissed" my father spoke in a loud clear voice that rang through out all Olympus.

One that was said the gods and goddesses went back to doing their normal routine. The only ones left were… you guess it Poseidon and me. I decided to thank him since he was there.

" That was very thoughtful of you. Thank you very much." I said softly.

I walked up to him and placed a small kiss on his cheek. He smelled like the ocean. It took all my will power to step back, give a flirty smile, and flashed myself back to my temple. Once there I sat down and thought. Why did I do that?
