Anywho, one day my friend brought her latest Twilight poem to school--which was UHH-MAZINGG! And I was inspired!! This is my first Twilight poem EV-UHH! Lawl. It's set during chapter 3 of New Moon. (Ya know...where Edward was being a -insert nasty words here-
Disclaimer: If I was Stephenie Meyer and I owned Twilight...this scene would have never happened. But since it did...it'snotmiiine. Wahhh.

Will you stay?
"Not tonight," you say.
I expected your answer,
So I asked for no reason.
But can't you hear the hope in my voice?
But can't you see the hurt in my eyes?
You can't feel my fear
As I sleep alone tonight
Without you,
Holding me tight.
And now the monsters
Under my bed,
Have turned into reality.
And the fears
I doubted would be ahead,
Have become the new normality.
But it hasn't always been that way.
In a simpler world,
Once, long ago,
The love between me and you
Was as simple as adding two plus two.
You and me
Me and you.
I was your earth
And you were my moon
And our love was a cosmic being,
Working like gravity between us.
And you promised you'd stay.
And I believed in you
…Until today.
"We're leaving," you told me.
But I was not in the 'we.'
"My world is not for you," you said.
But you are my world.
"I don't want you," you whispered.
You…don't…want…me?
"I've let this go on long enough," you told me yet again.
Don't do this.
"You're not good for me," you said.
If…that's what you want
A single nod is my response.
I'm dizzy.
I can't concentrate.
I feel so numb.
"Goodbye," you bid.
And my heart shattered
With that one single word.
Life, love, meaning…
Over.
