"Mommy! Let's go to the festival of Neggs today!" her mom sighed tiredly falling into the chair as her little daughter, Sally, ran up to her jumping around excitedly wondering why she couldn't be more clam like Fayla when she was a kid. "Tomorrow Sal, I promise." She said turning on the TV, "But you said that yesterday!" she whined falling to the ground in disappointment "Sally please!" her mom snapped, "Not now!" Sally nodded, and the poor disappointed Shyoru got up from the ground and walked outside.
'Mommy's been in a bad mood recently. I wonder if I did something wrong?'
Hearing footsteps walk up to her place in front of the porch, she looked up and in front of her was he big sister Fayla with her two friends, "Move." She commanded. Sally quickly got up and moved to the side. The girls went inside giggling and laughing once again leaving Sally outside by her lonesome once again, but she didn't care she was to occupied staring at the other kids running around with their colorful red, blue, yellow, green, rainbow baskets some in the shape of Cybunny heads, Neggs, Faeries, and many more! A tear slipped from her eye, rolling from her cheek, down onto the ground. Taking a seat on the ground under an apple tree still watching the other kids searching for plastic neggs as she slowly found them by herself with her eyes, then soon enough fell asleep peacefully under the warm spring sun, with a gently breeze from the east, and the laughter of children.
"Sal?"
"Sally?"
". . . . . ."
"SALLY WALLY!"
Sally jumped up from her nap, finding the black Shyoru Dak yelling at her. But only for the good of it, they are best friends after all. Her freshly washed white spring dress with pastel blue dots was now wrinkly with a soft shade of green. "What are you doing?" he asked taking a seat in front of her placing his basket of plastic neggs between them, "Well I was watching everyone negg hunting." She answered as she finished rubbing her eye open then eyeing the basket of candy. "Go ahead and take some. I DON'T care." Dak laughed as he took a piece of candy and began chomping on it, "I've eaten enough."
She eyed him and then the basket once more, "Sally if you don't eat it, I'll shove pieces of candy down your throat." He warned. She laughed and started eating from the plastic negg. Dak was calm once more and began eating once again. The two talked and laughed their way into the night, making plans for the next day.
