Valentine's Day-DBZ style!

Hi! This is a one-shot songfic spoofy thingy that I wrote on Valentines Day this year. I don't own DBZ or any songs here! Unfortunately....

It was bright morning and Trunks, master of the Capsule Corp. house, was readying already for the big party they were throwing for Valentine's Day. In a matter of hours the place was transformed into a pink-and-red fantasy. The last event of the day was a karaoke competition where three guys would sing and you had to guess their Valentine. Yamcha called the shots. 'First up, Gohan!' Gohan took the mike to a slower song.

'VIDEL!' Gohan laughed and mockingly put his hand behind his head. 'Was I that obvious?' 'Why that song, Gohan?' 'Gohan took me to a disco on our first date. They were doing karaoke and Gohan jumped up and sung that song to me.' Videl's eyes, though older now than what they were, shone with the memory as she smiled at her ever-young husband. 'Next up, Goten!' Goten sprung onto the stage to a rockier tune.

'I can see you

Your brown skin shinin' in the sun

[unsure of the words of this bit] everyone

Well I can tell you

My love for you will still be strong

After the boys of summer have gone...[2]'

'Bra?' asked Pan. 'Maron?' asked Piccolo. 'Trunks.' Goku's voice quietly broke in. Everyone jumped. They hadn't seen the tall, handsome saiyan enter the room. He had a small smile on his face. 'Honestly, I hope you two weren't trying to be subtle because you failed miserably. Trunks had stars in his eyes from the time you jumped on the stage, Goten, 'till the time you ended.' 'Observant,' Trunks laughed, giving Goten a warm hug. 'All right Goku, since you are so smart, why don't you jump up here and sing to your Valentine?' 'Okay,' replied Goku. This surprised everyone, because Goku's wife Chi-Chi had died some years ago and he had not been involved outwardly in any other relationships. Goku walked slowly onto the stage.

'My dreams came true,

You're the answer to my prayers

If only you could feel

That angels brought me here...[3]'

Goku smiled. 'Bra?' asked Pan. 'No!' 'Maron?' 'No!' '18?' 'No!' 'Okay, we give up...who?' 'Vegeta.' Gohan's voice wended its way into their senses. Everyone fell over as Goku sauntered up to Vegeta and gave him a chaste kiss on the lips.

Okay, who liked it? Was the ending too corny? Sorry if no-one likes Goku singing Guy Sebastian but it's a lovely song and just the kind of thing I could imagine Goku saying! Also, if anyone knows the little bit of "Boys of Summer" that I left out, could you PLEASE review and tell me? Then I can fix it.
