Circus du Pitre

Prologue

A/N this is an edited version of a fic I deleted.

This is really just something I came up with while I'm having writer block with my other fics. Might not regularly update and may have serious grammar problems. Also I don't really know what a mary sue is so if my OC happens to be one please tell me cause i seriously have no clue about mary sues and greys.

The Crying Pierrot

"CATCH HER!"

"DON'T LET HER ESCAPE!"

"STOP HER!"

The trip to the bustling markets of Sablier had started out fairly innocently. I had been laughing and joking with the friends I had known all my life and cooing over my two newborn sons while shopping for the groceries the circus needed for the week. I hadn't been planning on running away but as I caught a glimpse of the silvery red haired man who had impregnated me almost a year ago I saw a chance to run and a chance to finally get away from the damned Circus du Pitre.

The moment I had caught that small glimpse I knew that this would be my only chance to escape…that it would be the only chance I had to escape that on that small whim I took off after him with the twins cuddled tightly to my chest and soon found myself being chased by the friends I had left standing by the cabbage stall.

I was lucky to have come to the market on a busy day. Thanks to the crowds of people behind me my friends were slowed down and I was able to grab hold of the silver haired man's man looked confused to as to why I had grabbed him and as I kept a tight hold onto him while trying to catch my breath he seemed conflicted on what to do.

"Please…help me…These children…please…these children are yours and I need your help…please I don't want to let them suffer like I did…" I gasped out trying to ignore the nearing sound of footsteps.

The man's slit like eyes rose slightly at my words and he stayed silent for a moment until seemingly noticing my friends who were just a few stalls away from us. He looked at my friends then at me and then at my two precious bundles before quickly picking me up from my hunched position and hiding me inside his long red coat. He was also careful as to not startle my sleeping sons which I felt was a kind gesture to the children whom he didn't even know were truly his.

It wasn't long after he had hidden us that I heard a mass of footsteps and enraged shouts pass us and as they slowly began to fade away I peeked out from the man's cloak and let out a sigh of relief when I could no longer see my friends.

"Thank you." I said unconsciously leaning my head onto the shoulder of my savior. I didn't see his face as I did this but felt the warm touch of his hand gently tilting my chin upward to face him. It was then that I took a moment to take in the man's unique features and saw the large red tattoo on his left cheek that had not been there the year before when I last met him. I must have stared a bit too long as the man poked me on the forehead to gain my attention.

"I said that you will have to come with me to the Baskerville Estate if you wish to confirm your claim to have birthed my children."

"If I do that will you take us in?"

"If they turn out to be mine then yes the Baskerville Clan will welcome you with open arms. However…" The man's slanted eyes opened slightly and grew sharper and serious before he continued. "If it turns out you are lying we will not be so sympathetic."

I gulped slightly before answering, "Please take care of us then."

The man nodded calmly at this before placing me back down on the ground and then leading the way out of the markets to the grand estates of the Baskervilles.
