Passion
Feelings so confusing;
Emotions so deep.
Tensions keep on pulling
Till sky and ground meet.
Waves crashing together like ketchup and mustard,
Pushing and mixing while struggling to learn.
Hopes and dreams all forgotten at once,
Your mind turns as plain as the moon and the sun.
Friends and family all worried 'bout you,
Certain that he will break your heart too.
But this one was different,
He had feelings and hope-
You were determined to continue,
Oblivious to the black hole.
Your life was perfect,
Like a bouquet of roses,
And in that next minute
You had millions of bruises.
They covered your face, your arms and your legs-
Like big ugly zits who threaten to mess.
You should've listened to your pals, your god and your angel;
They were there to help you, through times of trouble.
He seemed so perfect, so sweet and so caring-
But it was just you; your senses were dreaming.
Now it was back to the hurting pain that had sliced you before,
You swore to secrecy that you will be a fool once nevermore.
But soon enough, you'll fall for it again-
The laughing, the joking, the kissing-
never mind the pain.
The cycle will live on,
Like a turning wheel of fire.
But you will be glad to go on-
Damn these hormones of desire.
And maybe one day
You'll find that someone special.
And live your beautiful life,
Without hurt, sorrow, or denial.
