Love Rhyleigh xoxox
A night out on the town felt different to this.
Now, she felt as if she was in a constant head spin, words spewing out of her mouth before she could even control what she was saying.
Her finger felt naked. She had worn two rings for three years, and suddenly they were gone.
She had never been dependant on alcohol. one glass of wine, she was fine. Two, nothing happened.
But when she was drinking a bottle a night, she knew there was something wrong.
She had seen this before. Her sister in law had fell deep into the bottle, when she left Daniel. It was her way of coping with the pain, the hurt he had caused. To drown her sorrows with alcoholic beverages.
And as much as Sammy hated to admit it, that was what she was doing too. She was regretting leaving Nathan- and yet she wasn't sure if she should. She couldn't go back, not now.
Melissa hated seeing her like this. She hated the fact that she was the only one who knew Sammy was still in Sydney, hiding away in her mother's house. She wished she could tell someone- seeing Sammy like this was heartbreaking. She had always known the bright, bubbly girl that was her sister in law.
Not this one. This one was one that was dependant on alcohol, needing Melissa as a shoulder to cry on. Melissa obliged, soothing her into silent tears.
This one was not their Sammy, not the Sammy they loved.
She was drowning.
