The ringing in her ears slowly starts to fade.
She opens her eyes. She's alive... they're alive!
She stands up and looks around. The room looks so much smaller now. She can hear Ryan cheering beside her.
But something is wrong...
Something is very,very wrong...
"Aiden?"
Nothing...
He isn't answering, she can't feel his presence hovering around her.
No,no,no! This wasn't supposed to happen. He can't be gone.
But this is not like last time.
This feels different. Like something of her is missing.
It feels as if a part of her has been ripped out and the only thing that's left is a gaping black hole.
The cord is cut.
And for the first time in her life Jodie is completely alone.
