Toshiro couldn't sleep. And on top of that, he was bored. He hadn't been able to sleep for a few days, and as a result, he had done all of his paperwork and some of Momo's (It was unbelievably funny when she got follow-ups on paperwork she swore she hadn't done yet), organized his house and the office, and hacked the training dummies to little pieces. There was nothing left to do, but he still couldn't sleep. For some reason, he found himself wandering to his office again. He tried the door, and, to his surprise, found it unlocked. That was not good. He had left the office early, and left Matsumoto in charge of locking the place up. He would never actually fire Rangiku, but she was going to get a lecture. He walked in and found said lieutenant sleeping on the sofa. That explained so much. Seeing as it was almost 2 in the morning and she probably needed to get home, he decided to wake her up. "Mm? Captain? What are you doing here? I thought you left early." "Rangiku, it is 1:45 in the morning. You should be getting home." She sat up and rubbed her eyes. "Talking of that, Captain, why are you here? You should be sleeping." Toshiro shrugged. "Couldn't sleep." He replied simply. "Ooooh." She nodded understandingly. "You know. I used to do some babysitting when I was in the Academy. I know exactly how to deal with insomnia. Lie down on the sofa." Toshiro eyed her warily, but he lay down anyway. He wanted to sleep. "Now put your head in my lap." "... Will I regret this later?" "Captain." "Fine." With a sigh, he did as he was told. Rangiku then began to massage his temples. It was very soothing. She massaged his shoulders for a while, then went back to his head. The kid captain soon found himself falling asleep. "Rangiku?" he mumbled, with the last of his energy. "Yes Captain?" "This never happened." "Yes Captain."
