The Three Times When She Doesn't Get It and The One Time She Does

Daisuki. Suki. Aishiteru.

1.

Green. Your vision is filled with only green as you gaze into her beautiful eyes. Your hand softly caresses her cheek as you lay on the grass facing each other.

"Daisuki." This is the first time she said this to you and you scrunch up your face in confusion.

"Bless you?" You say causing her to crack a smile.

"Your so silly, Korra." She pokes you on the nose before getting up and running away. You chase after her, eventually tackle hugging her back on the ground.

You feel rain on your skin. The cold droplets easing your worry each drop at a time. Suddenly, warmth surrounds your back and sides as the scent of roses fills your nostrils. You slowly ease into the embrace.

"Suki." She whispers into your ear. You can't help but smile. Somehow, you know things will get better.

3.

You feel her soft lips against yours. This is the first time she kissed you and you can't help but kiss back. She's intoxicating and you want more. But she pulls back, eyes half-lidded and smiles, a blush appearing on her cheeks. You smile back at her, feeling as if your on top of the world.

"Aishiteru." She says and this time you know what she means.

4.

She's in your arms, she's crying. You stroke her hair, trying to calm her, to make things better. She leans into you and you kiss her head. Her breathing steadies and you find yourself admiring her face. Her makeup ruin from the tears, eyes red and hair slightly disheveled. You can't help but think she's beautiful. You kiss the tears away and she begins to calm down. You kiss both her eyes before claiming her lips. She breaks away to say something, but you silence her with another kiss.

"I love you too."

This time your silenced by her lips.

A.N.: Heh, okay so I wrote this a while back and just found it so I decided why not upload. Originally, I didn't know what nationality Asami was, I thought she was some sort of Chinese, but obviously you can tell that she's Japanese with the Japanese name and last name and all, so the 'I love you's said by Asami was originally in Cantonese but I changed it into Japanese. I was kind of confused with the translated I love you's. I know that they don't really have a term for that and the best way to translate it would be daisuki, suki or aishiteru, with aishiteru being really intense and hardcore. I decided to put all three of them in to show how much Asami had really fallen for Korra with each passage of time. Also, because each term has different levels of affection (to what the internet has told me daisuki being the least and aishiteru, the most? I'm not sure.). Anyways, yup, hoped you enjoyed it.
