Bad Wolf Bay

One heart

Behind the wall,

Three hearts

Framed in desperation,

Two hearts

Beating an echo

Because

The air is heavy here,

Burdened with the weight of those who've been.

Seeping through the edges, creeping near:

The tale this place has seen.

Windows stained,

Burned by a star now turned to ashes.

Hearts so pained…

Separated by walls that prevent these crashes

Of zeppelins into the face of Big Ben,

Cybermen into society,

War into monotony,

Time into space,

Tears into his face,

Life into death,

Last words into breath,

And love

Love into love again…

Because once there was

One heart

Shattered, broken, behind the wall

Then

Three hearts

Framed in desperation and words never said

Then

Two hearts

Beating an echo of light in darkness

To try and dry the tears

Turned to mist

Turned to weighted vapor

Of sadness

Of regret

Of loss

Of hope

Of love

Now echoed…

Ghosting

Here on the shoreline:

This bad, branded shoreline

Where, settled beneath

The surface,

Rest the footprints

Of a story in the sand;

Prints burdened with the story

Of

One heart

Shattered, broken,

Two hearts

Aching with words never said,

Three hearts

Echoing light

Crashing into dark

Crashing into sound

Crashing into love…

Love into love again

At

Bad Wolf Bay.
