"Kasahara! Get in here!"

Oh, shit, he sounds angry, Iku thought as she scampered into Genda's office. The Captain was actually on leave, so Doujou must have something to say in private. And she had an inkling as to what it would be about.

"Sir?" she asked as she walked into the room.

Doujou slammed the door behind her. "What the hell were you thinking?"

Oh, yeah, he's mad. "About what, Sir?"

"Don't give me that innocent act. You know very well."

"It was just a ..."

He wasn't buying it. "NO PDA* AT WORK. How many times do I have to tell you before you get it into that thick head of yours?"

She came very close, and ran a finger down his chest. He took a deep breath, slipped his hand behind her neck, and pulled her in for a kiss. It was soft and it was sweet and it was full of promise. Then he pulled back and it was over.

"And I swear that next time you accost me like that in the hallway," he continued in a stern voice, "I will write you up for insubordination. Work is work, got it?"

"Sir, yes sir." She saluted smartly, trying to keep a grin off her face. "Movie still on for tonight?"

Doujou sighed. "Yes, of course. Now get your ass back out there. Those books aren't going to shelve themselves."
