Disclaimer: I don't own the sisters Grimm or Tithe or anything else.
I woke up to a loud bang on the front door. Daphne still snored away, but the banging still increased. Looking around I saw that there were no pranks. Huh. I got up and stretched. Shuffling to the stairs I almost got knocked over my Puck as he flew by me like a bullet and landed at the door with is wooden sword out.
"Puck! What the heck?"I screamed as I ran down the stairs. He looked over his shoulder and glared at me.
"Go back to your room now!" he hissed.
"What? No way! What's going on?" I pushed passed him to open the door but he grabbed my wrist and pulled me behind his back. "What is wrong with you?"
"I'm a king now, I have connections." He gave me a mischievous grin and reached for the door knob. In one fluid motion he flung opened the door and stood up straight to make himself look more intimidating. At the door, a tall pale man stood with long bleach blonde hair and silver eyes. He was beautiful but in a very intimidating way with pointed ears and sharp features. He wore a long black coat, a black t-shirt, black pants, and leather boots. He was armed with a sword strapped to his side. He raised an eye brow and studied Puck.
"Robin Puck Goodfellow." Puck stiffened and nodded at the man.
"Roiben." Puck greeted him. Roiben laughed.
"William put you to doom, did he not. I've brought my Queen if that is satisfactory."
"Where is she? Who is she? Is she the only one?" Puck lowered his sword, but he still glowered at Roiben.
"Of course. That is her." The man gestured to a girl half way down the hill with her back turned and her green arm raised to her ear as she talked on her cell phone. I felt silly dressed in flannel pants and a blue t-shirt. "Who is this?" Roiben eyed me curiously.
"Grimm. She can introduce herself." Puck turned to me with his usual grin.
"Hi, uh I'm Sabrina … Puck, What is going on?" I mumble through gritted teeth. He just raised an eye brow and I rolled my eyes.
"Well are you going to invite us in?" Roiben asked. I was about to, but Puck intervened.
"No, retrieve your queen first." Roiben's eyes squinted.
"As you wish." He whispered and turned to walk down the hill.
"Who is that and what are they doing here." I whispered to Puck.
"He is the king or the Unseelie and Seelie court. They aren't everafters, but he is a faery and she is a pixie."
"But she isn't like your minions."
"They are everafters, she is part of the originals." Puck mumbled as the two walked up the hill. "They are here to help in the war, … hopefully."
The pixie had fully black eyes without a trace of white and leaf green skin. Kaye wore a black t-shirt with a leather jacket over it and black skinny jeans with leather combat boots. She smiled to show white teeth and all of a sudden her features changed. Suddenly she had slightly tanned skin with pink lips and chocolate brown eyes. Her hair was like mine but straight and her long fingers seemed to shrink and loose a forth joint. Kaye's pointed ears rounded and she looked like a normal seventeen year old girl.
"Hi, I'm Kaye." She curtsied then stood up straight. I wonder if I was supposed to do that too.
"You may come in." I have never seen Puck so formal.
"I'm going to wake the others." I stifled a yawn and ran up the stairs to Granny Relda's room. "Granny wake up!" She reached above her head and grabbed a sword that was hung on the wall and she swung it like a mad women until she opened her eyes and saw that it was me.
"What is it leibling?" she sighed and replaced the sword.
"Puck invited some of his faerie friends over to help with the war."
