I pressed my hand against the cool glass of the window, the cold, smooth, hard sensantion was once familiar to my once warm finger tips. It reminded me of him, the person I had forbidden myself to think about, even now after all this time, even after what had happened. But now I had ripped the constricting chains from my chest, heart and lungs.. allowing myself to feel, breathe and walk among others without clutching myself for sanity. It has been 100 years to the day since I had last seen the cullens, Edward stood most prominent in my mind, the last of them I had ever seen.. the way he told me he didn't love me. It broke my heart even now. I turned away from the illuminated sky of this solemn night and turned to look at myself in the long gold gilt mirror I had picked up not so long ago. It stood as a wonderful feature in my room, matching the luxurious colouring of deep reds and warm golds throughout my room - alice would be proud. As I looked in the mirror I saw myself, but not thy self that I should be. Now, I was like them. Mahogany hair fell down to the middle of my back, perfectly waved without a hint of frizz, perfection. Just like them. My lips now a deeper colour, more seductive than before, such an invitation for my intended prey. Angular lines that now defined my face, making me exceptionally beautiful, even in my simple clothes now my body was an insentive for lust in most mens minds.

My gift was more exceptional than what had been expected by the Volturi. I had the ability to not only allow others into my mind or not, but control the decisions of others. I was also able to project my protective among others, however it took great concentration and I had not had much training. Creating me as what I am now must of been a mistake, because as that vampires hand fondled my skin he had no intent on leaving me alive. I could see it in the flash of his black eyes, the first that burnt his throat. But it happened, I rithed in pain, but not only the pain of the venom but the pain of knowing i got my forever just not my Edward. My Edward. I sighed, and looked into my eyes, a light topaz that swam like honey as I thought of him now. A vegetarian, he would be so pleased I managed this alone.

I drifted over to my bed and closed my eyes, my mind wandering back to Edward, Forks and my previous life. Tomorrow was time to move, and I wanted this peaceful moment. Me and Edward together again, our cold icy lips locked together, my hands knotted in his reddish-brown hair...
