A cursed object formed from Midoriko's heart,
A beautiful pure jewel, sought by the lark.
Owner to owner, given much sadness,
Generation after generation, fell to madness.
A magic created by the brightest light,
Yet fell to despair, darkness of the night.
Healing, Empowering, Avenging, not once used for good,
Shattered heart by mysterious creature in hood.
Sought by Youkai and humans out of greed,
Stealing the gem took many a wicked deed.
Shining shards of the new moon,
A predicament foretelling nearby doom.
