It was night-time and BB was at his usual place; at the Game Corner. During the day, he would laugh and sing with the children. During the night, he would try to murder the night guard. But he was confused. Was it really what he wanted? Did he want to go through the same routine every night to get to the office to assist his friends in these killings? Or was he just under the influence of a being of supernatural power; being controlled like some puppet?
All he wanted was his balloons. Especially his favourite, the yellow one with the red stripe. Maybe the guard liked balloons too. They could be best friends.
BB wandered through the hallway to one of the party rooms. Foxy was there. BB and the others felt sorry for Foxy. All Foxy wanted was to entertain the kids. But the kids tore him apart every day. And the employees had stopped fixing him. Now Foxy insisted on being called the Mangle, and wanted everyone to consider his old Foxy-self dead. He thought of himself as an 'it'. BB was always scared that he would be sent to Kid's Cove. Mangle took a look at BB and left towards the other party room, probably the hallway.
BB bent to his knees, entered the vent and crawled through the narrow space. When he looked up, he saw the vent camera was on. "Hello" he said. The camera went off and he saw a light up ahead. The vent light was on. He went up ahead towards the light. He poked his head out the vent. He had reached the office. He looked up at the light shining into his face. His systems adjusted brightness and contrast to let him see clearly. The night guard was looking at him, sweating. "Hi" BB said to the guard. "Do you like balloons?" BB asked him. The night guard just looked at him with worry, regret, fear, angst and anger. The guard reached for a mask and was about to put it on before a red light suddenly started blinking on the camera.
The night guard looked back at his camera. The guard was holding down a button on the screen. Probably to wind up the music box. BB saw his chance. He climbed out the vent into the office. He dragged his sign and balloon out from the vent behind him. He didn't want to kill. But he had to. He had to do it to save them. To save him. BB disabled the vent lights and broke the flashlight. He went to stand next to the hallway. He could hear the old Foxy's metallic parts banging on the floor. The night guard looked back at BB. He tried to use his lights and mask. But he soon realised it was too late for him. The guard said a lot of mean things to BB. BB wanted to cry, but being a robot, he was unable to emit tears. But that didn't mean he didn't have feelings. BB started to laugh; trying to block out the guard's shouting. He blocked out the sound of Foxy leaping at the guard from the hallway. He blocked out the screams and noises of terror. BB kept on laughing as the old withered animatronics carried the guard to the Parts and Service Room. But inside, it hurt.
