A/N: Yet another Challenge Fic. This one is called Only Time by the Fantastic XXX-Angelin-XXX. The contest was to use some lines from a song called Only Time. The lines I used are in Bold Italic. So here it is, Enjoy.
Brotherly Love
Ginny sat curled up in her bed crying. Her heart ached, her body was exhausted and her eyes stung from tears. She felt sick and disgusting, she wanted to crawl into a ball and shivel away. Exit from the world. She had been lied and cheated and she hated the person who did this to her.
A slight knock at the door made Ginny shrink further into her sheets. The door creaked open and Percy popped his head around the corner.
"Gin?" he whispered. Ginny didn't move, as if it would prove to him she wasn't there. Percy moved quietly in and shut the door behind him. He walked through the room carefully in the dark and Ginny felt the bed sink as he sat down. He reached over and ran his hand through her hair softly and Ginny rolled over to look at him.
"He lied to me Percy," she sniffed. "And now he is gone and I have no way to tell him how I feel."
"How do you feel?" he asked. Ginny sniffed.
"I feel like my heart is crying," she said softly and turned back into her pillow. "Why do I feel like this? I knew he would lie. I mean it is Harry Potter, what did I expect for him to just sit back and let someone else do the dirty work. I am so stupid. So why does it hurt so much that he lied?" she asked in between sobs.
"Who can say why your heart cries when your love lies?" he cooed. Ginny frowned.
"That did not help." Percy laughed and lay down next to Ginny.
"Ginny, you are in love. You can't make the heart work the way you want. The heart is a complicated organ that chooses who you love, it may not even have a legitimate reason. But you will find it deceives you some days and pushes you in the right direction the next. You just have to let out every last tear and hold your head high," he said. Ginny rolled over and looked at Percy.
"Did this happen to you?" she sniffed.
"Yes, but that was a lifetime ago," he smiled.
"What happened?" Ginny asked. Percy rolled over to face Ginny.
"It was a relationship like yours, where Nights Keep all Your Heart," he smiled. Ginny frowned at him.
"Why are you saying things that don't make sense?" she whined.
"When your older they will," he assured her.
"so what do I do now?" she asked.
"You come downstairs and spend time with your Brother's, who at this current time are desperate to play Quidditch," he said standing up. Ginny sat up and shook her head.
"I don't want to play anything," she said softly. Percy held out his hand and smiled.
"How about you just come downstairs and spend time with your brother's," he said. Ginny smiled softly and stood up taking Percy's hand.
"Ok," she said softly walking downstairs into the noisy kitchen.
A/N: Ok the reason I wrote this is because I wanted to show how supportive I think her brother's are. Even Percy who I have reacently started to read about and have quite enjoyed. I chose him because I believe he would be the smartest and would use quotes like that. So I hope you enjoyed.
