AN: Hey all I'm back!! I know i havent updated "How far would you go?" in a
few weeks but I had a death in my family which made it hard to write and I
got NO reviews. However I had this idea in my head and decided to make a
little short story. After all they do say April fool's day is 3 days before April
1st and 3 days after so away we go....
Shelby quietly walked around the lodge deep in thought. She wasnt paying
attention to anyone or anything and before she knew it she was crashing into
someone. " I know I know watch it Freakin" he said once he realized who it
was. "Sorry Ezra" she said with a shy smile. "Thats odd" he thought, but he
shrugged it off as one of Shelby many moods. As the rest of the cliffhangers
wondered what happened.
Later that day Ezra wandered around campus pondering life like always when
he heard something that made him stop. It sounded like a rustling in the
bushes. As he looked around he saw a streak of blonde dash by. "Couldnt
be...could it?" He mumbled to himself.
The rest of the day continued without incident. That night Ezra had been
exscused from group. He told Peter that he didnt feel good but he really just
didnt want to go. He had told the rest of the cliffhanger guys about what he
thought was Shelby and they all just made fun of him. He didnt want to hear
it from the girls too especially from Shelby. He was sitting on his bed reading
a book when he heard yet another noise. "Ok this is starting to get wierd" he
said to the empty dorm.
Ezra got off of his bed and went to the door to investigate. When he got there
what he found nearly gave him a heart attack. "Shelby what are you doing
here?" he asked "I really need to talk to you Ezra" she said seriously. "Sure
come on in" he said gesturing her into the dorm. Once they were both sitting
on beds facing each other Ezra spoke first. "Well what was it that you wanted
to say Shel?" He asked tired of sitting in silence. "this is really kind of hard
for me to say Ezra but umm...I have feelings for you." Ezra just sat there
shock evident in his face as Shelby continued. "I know I seem like I hate you
sometimes but thats just because I dont know what to say to you when ever
you get near me, and well I just wanted to do this.." and with that she pushed
Ezra onto his back and climbed ontop of him. Ezra's thought's raced around
in his head "Ohh god this is it..Shelby is finally saying she likes me I knew it"
As this was happening Shelby slowly leaned in and when her mouth was just
inches from his..............
the door broke open and in came all of the Cliffhangers.
"APRIL FOOL'S" They all yelled, but when they saw what was happening
they just stared in disbelief. "Shelby what are you doing?" Scott asked
close to tears. "GOT YA!!!" Ezra and Shelby said in unison as they stood up.
"WOW guys the looks on your faces were priceless" Shelby said giggling
"OH yeah you never saw that coming" Ezra said smiling proudly.
"Afraid we did" Peter said walking through the door. "2 weeks of kitchens
for inappropriate touching" He said his face full of seriousness. "starting now"
"Fine we're going" they mumbled on their way out.

were even more shocked at what they saw. "APRIL FOOL'S" was written across
the wall in ketchup.
