destroy that
wretched thing,
so that is what
I shall do,
I'll go to Mordor
and do it for you.

I cry and cry,
but soon,
these tears must
dry.
Wipe them away,
you just rest here
and stay,
while I pray for
your safety and mine.

The ring is so heavy,
I cry again,
feeling pity,
that you had to carry it.
Now, you rest,
and I'll go,
through sadness
and pain,
Grit my teeth,
look up.

I look at you,
for one last time.
I smile, a sad sad
smile.
Yes, I must,
I must go forth now,
because I can,
I won't turn back,
because I am who I am,
I am Samwise the Brave.
