Shaking. She couldn't stop shaking. Hiding in the darkness.

She looked around warily, in spite of herself. The tip of her golden tail was flicking nervously back and forth– she couldn't stop it.

But her green eyes met only moonlight and shadows. A few tendrils of fog curled menacingly around the piles of junk. Stillness.

And she knew why he was doing this. He wanted her back. She was the one who had gotten away...

Was that a bit of red fur amid the shadows? Gone the next instant...

Her breath was coming in ragged gasps. She was making far too much noise in her panic. He would surely find her now...

She stared around her, eyes open wide. Looking but not truly seeing.

If she was terrified enough she would give in. She was as aware of it as he was. It was all part of his game... Using her terror against her.
