Disclaimer: I do not own any of the characters in this story, they belong to J.K. Rowling. However, I may own Fredrick Cornwall because I made him up.

This is a comedy, and my second story which is much unlike my first. Please review once you are finished and keep in mind that the story is a comedy so if things seem a little out of line, its for a good reason.

Harry's First Day as an Auror

Harry walked into Fredrick Cornwall's office which was composed of a desk, a chair, and disorderly papers everywhere. Clearly this man had no organizational skills.

Harry's First Day as an Auror: Part II

"Harry, Harry, nice to meet you," Cornwall said as he lifted his head up to greet Harry. "Of course you already know who I am, but you might be wondering how I prefer to be referred to as. I simply have no objections to being called Fred. In fact, if you call me anything but Fred I'll probably staple your balls to my desk seeing as how you don't have a desk yourself. I just have to finish some paper work here so could you just run and get me a refill for my coffee and then I'll show you around the place."

Harry did as he was told and came back to Fred's office only to find Fred not there. Not wanting to disrupt anyone, as they all seemed to be busy with something, Harry headed through the hall peeping into various rooms in hopes of finding Fred. Fifteen minutes of searching led Harry back to Fred's office where Fred seemed to be sitting in his chair again.

"Hope that coffee's hot Potter, I don't want to have to get my stapler out."

"Don't worry sir, I'll get you a new one. This one is definitely not hot."

"Potter, you didn't call me Fred. You know what this means don't you. I mean, rules are rules Potter, if I don't staple your balls to the desk, I'm going to have to send you to Azkaban. So what's it going to be?"

"What the hell's wrong with you? You're the one who left. Your coffee would be hot if you'd just stayed in your office."

"That's neither here nor there Potter. So lets here your decision."

Not wanting to have any part of him stapled to the desk Harry decided to take the Azkaban option, where he stayed for a week.

The following Monday when Harry came in to work to resign he forgot to refer to Mr. Cornwall as Fred. Fred was nice this time and offered him the option of once again getting his balls stapled to the desk or choosing to keep his job. Harry chose the former.
