From May 11-13, 2012, I went with the Highlands Varsity Marching Band to Baltimore, Maryland to perform our music festival. First, on Friday, we had to wear our trip shirts. After lunch at the food court, I ended up walking with Sarah, James, Henri, Carly, and her parents, Sam and Freddie around the aquarium. "Mr. and Mrs. Shay, I'm glad you guys could help chaperone the band trip," I told Carly's parents. "We were glad to help with this trip, too, Angel," Mrs. Shay told me. "Isn't everything pretty, Mr. Shay?" "Of course," he then replied. "Our daughter, Carly is having a fun time herself." Carly then went to the souvenir shop and purchased a dolphin bracelet, similar to what I was wearing. Actually, the bracelet reminded me a little bit of what I got at the band banquet. "That's a cool bracelet you bought, Carly," I told her. "Thanks," she then replied back. "Did you happen to get a special present from your drill team friends?" "No," she then replied. "Why?" "Because I honestly thought you were a great drill team captain, and the underclassmen looked up to you," I explained to Carly. "Why, thank you, Angel!" "And, did you honestly think that Sarah and James were good drum majors this year?" I asked her. "Of course, they were awesome," Carly then replied. I then sat down with Sarah, James, and Henri to watch the dolphin show. Carly and her parents sat right behind us. "Don't you just love these dolphin shows, Sarah?" I asked my best friend. "Of course I do, Angel," Sarah then replied. "James and I both do, as a matter of fact." "Uh-huh," James then told me. "When Sarah and I were kids, we came here all the time with our parents." "That's weird, because I've never been here before," I told my friends. "What about you, Henri?" I then asked. "Did you ever come here?" "Not really, Angel," he then replied. "Okay, but what matters is that I am here in Baltimore, Maryland with all my favorite friends, and we are going to watch dolphins do epic tricks," I then told all of my friends. We then watched dolphins do amazing tricks for 2 hours before we went back to our hotel.
