Betrayal
When I look at the chest,
In which he is contained.
All I remember the best,
Is that he is chained.
I still remember him very well,
And the things he taught.
Though it still doesn't ring a bell
That he helped me in times of distraught.
Even though he hurt me,
I have a special place in my heart for him.
I knew we were meant to be,
Even though life went through unexpected turns and when lights went dim.
Betrayal has taught me that life,
Very well indeed has strife.
