Hello, all you beautiful people, and happy 2017! Let's hope this year winds up being far better than the last one! Now, I still have a week of vacation left before I return to college *shudder* so I'll try my best to work on my stories and entertain you before the time is up.
So, without further ado; Captain Obvious, start this off!
It was January 1st, 2017, the very first day of the new year, and the Louds were just recovering from trying-and failing-to witness the new year once again. This included Lincoln, who woke up. "Oh man, that new year was underwhelming," the boy remarked, right before he noticed he was back at his room. "Huh? What am I doing back here?"
"Lincoln."
The white-haired boy flinched at the calling, but soon calmed down when he saw it was none other than Lori, who actually looked happy-if a bit exhausted-for once. "There's something I want you to see," she said as the boy got off his bed and approached his oldest sister.
"Well, what is it?" Lincoln asked, putting his hands on his hips.
The teenager just chuckled before grabbing Lincoln's arm and dragging him to the attic, wherein they saw a large fridge with a bunch of new year pictures posted all over it. "This, is the New Year's Fridge," Lori stated as Lincoln took a closer look at the pictures, which apparently started back when Lucy was just a baby. "On the first time all the Louds actually managed to witness the new year, they decided to commemorate it by posting new year pictures one a fridge each year."
"What about the fridge? Is it good?" Linc inquired.
"Nah, it's just a piece of junk, but an useful piece of junk at that," Lori answered. "Now take a closer look."
Upon doing so, Lincoln saw he and Ronnie Anne kissing in the moonlight at new year's... followed by goofy selfies done by Bobby and Lori. "Who took that picture?" Lincoln asked, pointing at the picture of him and Ronnie. "I mean, it's obvious either you or Bobby took the selfies, but what about the picture with me and Ronnie Anne?"
Lori rolled her eyes, then promptly introduced the photographer: Clyde. "Hello, Lincoln," the dark-skinned boy greeted. "Ronnie asked me to take a picture of you and her during the new year's, and after Lori gave me a helping hand, I managed to take the picture without issues!"
"And for that, he deserves a little reward," Lori added, before giving Clyde a kiss in the cheek.
With that done, the boy blushed and quickly bolted out of the room while Lori and Lincoln laughed. Though Lincoln's attention was soon caught by taking another look at his and Ronnie's picture, before giving it a smile.
"Ronnie..." he thought with delight. "I hope you liked the kiss..."
