"Alice come on!" Bella shouted at the top of her lungs. I grumbled and grabbed my favorite pair of sneakers and a plain brown hoodie, I quickly ran a brush through my hair and didn't even bother checking my appearance before running downstairs. Bella and Rosalie were waiting impatiently for me at the bottom looking as stunning as ever. I felt a little self conscience next to such beauties, I was sure they would turn every man's head at the mall, while nobody would notice me; the plain Jane.

"Oh Alice!" Bella eyed my apparel with distaste. "Don't you have something nicer you could wear?" The insecure feelings I was having earlier disappeared and I stuck out my lip, folding my arms across my chest stubbornly.

"I like what I'm wearing and I won't change, Bella."

Bella sighed in exasperation and Rosalie rolled her eyes. "Let's not argue about Alice's lame choice of clothing right now and get to the mall before all the good bargains are gone." Bella cast one last frustrated glance at me and nodded in agreement.

"I could always stay home and read," I said eagerly, there was this new book I'd started and I wanted to finish it.

"Nuh uh," Bella shook her head adamantly. "This time you are going shopping with us," she linked her arm through mine and skipped to the door, giggling a little. "It'll be fun, Alice cheer up."

"Having pins driven under my fingernails would be more fun," I muttered darkly. Rosalie was right behind us and I could hear her laugh softly. "I hate shopping," I grumbled.
