Hehehe, ah how the plot bunnies just keep coming. This was once again inspired by my suitemate, who has been forcing me to write so much more than I used to. You should all thank her! So here is just a little bit of cuteness, Enjoy! ^_^

Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter.

"I am telling you, Lily. Harry takes after me." James grumbled to his wife, watching as she cradled their ten month old son in her arms, "I mean just look at him, he looks exactly like me!"

Lily shot a glare up at her husband, setting her son gently down onto the floor.

"What are you talking about James!" She growled, standing up and walking over to face him before poking her husband in the chest. "Harry obviously takes after me! He acts just like I did when I was his age! Not only that, but you can just see the intelligence in his eyes, which are exactly like mine, if you haven't noticed!"

James bristled slightly, his eyes narrowing.

"Are you calling me stupid?" he asked in a low voice leaning towards his wife a little aggressively.

Lilly allowed a small smirk to turn up the corners of her lips before raising her chin in a defiant manner.

"Honestly James, you have never been the brightest bulb in the box."

James opened his mouth to make a scathing retort, when he heard a squeal come from down the hall. Instantly both James and Lilly turn to where they had last seen their son, only to find empty floor space. Hearing another squeal, they both took off down the hall, calling out in unison for their missing child.

As they rounded a corner that would lead them farther into their house, Lilly's foot landed on top of a small metal car, causing her to lose her footing. James, seeing this, instantly stretched out his arms to catch his wife, completely unaware of where his own foot was about to land. Which was right on top of another metal car that sent him and his wife falling into the wall. James twisted his body around, holding his wife close as his shoulders connected with the hard wall, his breaths coming out in a small pant.

"A-Are you alright, Lilly?" James asked hurriedly, searching his wife face.

"I-I think so. Thank you, James…"Lilly murmured softly, shock still evident on her face.

James sighed, taking note that they had actually fallen into their hall closet as he tried to push himself and his wife off the wall. But as he straightened, he heard small feet running before the sound of the door to the closet slamming shut and the loud click of the lock.

There was utter silence within the closet as darkness consumed the two adults.

"Harry!" James called out, finding his voice before his wife. "Open this door right now young man!"

They listened as their son giggled happily before his small footsteps ran out of the hallway.

"HARRY!"

"James, do you have your wand?" Lilly asked, snapping her husband's attention back onto her.

"No… I set it on the table when I went to retrieve Harry's bottle." James answered, feeling a small amount of guilt for leaving it behind. "You?"

Lilly shook her head sadly. "I left it in the bedroom when I first went to wake Harry from his nap…"

The two stood in silence for a while, uncertain of how to proceed, before Lilly sighed dramatically.

"He takes after you, James…"

I hope you enjoyed, please review to tell me whether or not you hated it! If you like this one, go and read my Parenthood fic. It is down the same line of one-shots of little Harry and the cute/funny things that occur around him.
