A pokemon and Chronicles of Narnia twist.
Note: I do not own the books. I have seen The Lion, the Witch, and the wardrobe movie, but not Prince Caspian. I like the movie but can not yet afford the books. Because of it, Book 1 will be The Shinx, the Misdreavous and the Cave.
Disclaimer: I do not own Pokemon or the Chronicles of Narnia.
Rin blinked open her eyes, blinded by the early morning sunshine sneaking in through the dusty window. The room itself wasn't much different. Dust caked all the dressers and desk, even her bed had needed new sheets hen they arrived because moths had eaten most of the fabric and left holes. The curtains were almost none-existent. Being the youngest daughter, Rin had the 'privilege' of one of the smallest rooms in the old house. The rooms her older sister, Li, and her had gotten were both too small to share, so unlike their brothers they had separate rooms. The boys, Aidan and Markus, had to share the biggest of the kids' rooms. The house was old, but to the family, it was new. Their old apartment had grown too small, so they had to move into something bigger, and this was it.
Rin slipped into her clothes and went down the steps. She could smell breakfast, and figured she was the last one down. She sat at her place and began to eat like the rest of the family.
"When are we going to get our first pokemon?" Li asked, just swallowing a mouthful of eggs.
"When Markus turns ten." Their father replied.
"But everyone in my class already has their pokemon! We are old enough, and Markus still has about a year before he turns ten." Rin argued. Their father still shook his head.
"When we were kids, the rule was that each child must turn ten before anyone from that family could get their first pokemon." Their mother pointed out. Li and Aidan sighed, while Rin banged her head on the table. Markus didn't seem bothered; it was his fault for being two years younger then Rin.
"Sorry to break it to you Mom, but you aren't a kid anymore, even though this house looks as old as you. And about my room. It looks like someone had a pokemon battle in it! there are scorch marks and places that look like they got wet and then dry immediately. It is weird!" Li said, shaking her head. I wish I had her room. At least it is interesting. Moths have eaten all the history in mine. Rin thought bitterly. The whole thing about the pokemon had brought her to a bad mood, more then the move had.
