Not many but one.
This is set in Firestars Quest when they are fighting the rats at the barn. Enjoy! Oneshot!
"Come and fight!" Firestar hurtled the challenge against a wall of silence. Panic began to prickle in his fur. The leading rat was clever not to show himself. The cats pressed their backs to the tree as the rats crept a little nearer. Another few heartbeats, Firestar thought, and they would surge forwards. The Skyclan cats would fight on for a little while, but sooner or later they would be overwhelmed. Once more Skyclan would become nothing more than a memory. What can I do? He asked himself, anguished. Then a familiar scent drifted around him, and his paws tingled. Spottedleaf?
Spottedleaf sighed. These Skyclan cats would be destroyed if she did not deliver the message. Spottedleaf? Firestar thought. She drifted down from Starclan and whispered in her ears. Not many but one! I DONT UNDERSTAND! Firestar protested in his mind. But Spottedleaf drifted back to Starclan and arrived just as she heard Firestar speak.
"She is talking about us!" He thought out loud. "There is not many of us but ONE!"
Spottedleaf whacked herself with her paw then turned to the other Skyclan, Starclan cats and Bluestar.
"He is RUBBISH with prophecies! The fire will save out clan, Bluestar told him. Water will quench fire; beware a warrior you do not trust; beware the warrior who seems to sleep; pack, pack, kill, kill; Two will become four, lion and tiger will meet in battle and blood will rule the forest! HE DID NOT GET!!! There will become 3, kin of your kin with the power of starclan in their paws! AND THE 3RD ISNT EVEN KIN OF HIS KIN ITS KIN OF HIS KIN OF HIS KIN! The rest, like Darkness, Air, Water and Sky will come together and shake the forests to its roots HE DIDN'T EVEN RECIEVE!!! Blood will spill Blood and the lake will run red he didn't...re...ceiv...e." She trailed off as she was the shocked look on everyone's faces.
Bluestar broke the silence.
"H-how do you know that?" Spottedleaf blushed. Skystar rolled his eyes.
"You read the books again didn't you!" He sighed.
"Sort of," Spottedleaf mumbled.
"HOW DID YOU GET THEM OUT OF THE SAFE?" Bluestar roared. Spottedleaf blushed again.
"I got the mice from Preyclan to nibble through it." She admitted. Everyone groaned.
"Were going to get mice droppings again!" one queen complained.
"Well let's see what Skyclan are doing?" Cloudstar said and the Starclan cats looking into the pool.
"Wow only 5 cats died! Who's left?" Spottedleaf asked.
"Leafdapple, Petelnose, Sharpclaw, Echosong, Cherrypaw, Rockkit, Mintkit, Bouncekit, Tinykit. Firestar and Sandstorm of course." Skywatcher Replied.
"Better than nothing." Spottedleaf said. "Shall we go Bluestar?"
"Yeah! See you guys!" Bluestar shouted
"See you!" The Skyclan cats said dully.
