One-Shot
Hey everyone! It's me with another one-shot! This time, though, I wanted to mix things up. So, I'm doing a lukabeth story… yeah…. Not judging but I still think percabeth is the absolute greatest thing ever, even when they are genderbent. *Cough* especially when they are genderbent *cough*.
Hope you enjoy!
~All It Takes~
Annabeth was done. She was tired of crying and feeling confused. She was tired of feeling worthless and betrayed. She was tired of everything.
Especially Luke.
He practically tore her heart out and never gave it back. At first, she thought that him being gone was the worst part.
But then she realized her mistake.
It was the betrayal that hurt her the most. It made her feel like everything thing they ever had meant nothing. And she was probably right.
Yet, she couldn't hate him.
No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't bring herself to hate a single bone in his body.
So she locked herself away.
Away from the world, she would be able to think. Then again, she always thought that being alone was the best way to conjure up any logical thoughts.
Like everything else, it didn't help.
But then one day she thought of him, and felt nothing. She didn't feel the all-to-familiar stab in her heart, or the tormenting knife in her back. She felt nothing.
She started to get better.
She could finally live and breathe normally with out him. Everything was going according to plan again.
And slowly her walls began to rebuild themselves.
She could look in the mirror, and see a familiar face.
But all it took was a flash of blond hair and blue eyes
All it took was another stab in her back,
And her walls came crumbling down.
Hey again! Yeah, sorry about that, it was kinda depressing. But during the Percy Jackson series, I felt seriously bad for Annabeth. To be honest, Luke was a complete jerk to her for MOST of the series. Not all, but still, I feel for Annabeth, you know?
Anywho, I hope you enjoyed this story!
