As most fruba fans know there are some inter-story love tales inside the comedic shojo story of the zodiac. This is one of the many thousands anime/manga stories out there but hopefully this one will catch your eye as something "special and touching".
Laying awake at night alone was one of the many things Tohru Honda spent evening hours doing. This time she was thinking over her life and how great she had it with the Sohma family. She was fading out in her head sifting through years of memories in only hours. The room would sway slightly every so often as if it were floating along or drifting at sea. While thinking over her life and attempting to put her nerves aside, breathing deeply as if she would have gotten so lost in her memories that she would once in a while forget to take a second to breathe, she pictures her mothers smile and one of her things she would say " Tohru after your father died I just wasn't myself I became depressed and started struggling through financial issues and tried to keep a roof over our heads but after a while I realized that you were with me and I couldn't bear the fact of you seeing me sad, or thinking it was your fault so I began picking up more and more of the pieces until I was almost completely back to normal. I never let your fathers death stop me, and that's why I want you to do the same,Tohru even if your grandpa, your uncle, your aunt, a cousin or knock on wood your own mother, yours truly passes away. Don't let that stop you, shove on ahead and become the girl that deep inside you know you can be, I believe in you, as I always will.
At that moment Tohru burst into tears and clutched her mothers incased picture in her arms. With streams of tears pouring down her innocent baby soft cheeks. Then as if out of nowhere and totally unexpected Yuki appears at the ajar door. Yuki with a concerned pitch in his voice exclaims "Miss Honda, whats wrong? Are you hurt?"
"Oh Yuki,sniffles
" Its ok you can tell me, I will listen"
"I just feel like something is leaking out of my heart like a balloon with a hole".
"I feel as though or in doubt that I will ever live up to what my mom wants me to be".
"and I also feel like im taking advantage of everything you've given me here, a bed, a home, food and a many loving friendly people that are so very unique and un-clone able."
" Miss Honda, taking a slow yet elegant breathe in Miss Honda listen to me, you are one of the most lovely maidens I've ever met in my life, when I left Sohma Estates, I thought I was free and out of the vast cage over the years of living there I began to think was un escapable. Up until the time a met you, brief pause I felt trapped and under pressure to fit in. But now I feel as though I can be myself around you, I can laugh, share my problems and simply be Yuki.
Tohru gasps in shock
" Yuki, I had….no idea you felt this way".
" Oh and Miss Honda, one more thing".
"Yes?"
at that moment Yuki grabs Tohru's face in a elegant manor and touches his lips to hers, shares his affection for the first time in his life and slowly detaches his lips from her own
" Goodnight Miss Honda"
"Goodnight Yuki"
the next day and further are not featured until the next chapter: Love and Affection Unvailed- find out what kyo has to say about this ordeal and also find out what the mysterious Akito has up his sleeves all in the next chapter of Furuba The Untold .
