"You've got to have a birthday." Jack reasoned. "Universe can't just have suddenly one day decided oh and you appeared."

The Doctor looked at Jack over the console.

"He's got a point." Rose smirked from her seat behind the Doctor. "It would be nice to know when it is, maybe even celebrate."

"Oh we have to celebrate!" Jack looked far too happy for the Doctor not to worry slightly more at that look he had. That look never meant anything good. Far from it either meant him being cornered by an overly friendly Jack or them having to fight for their lives. Either way, somehow the Doctor enjoyed it. Not that he would ever admit it.

"I just don't."

Jack frowned then suddenly grinned again, quite quickly. He'd had an idea.

The Doctor, increased the worry level again, he didn't even know how this conversation had started. Oh that was it, Rose had wanted to get a present for her mother's birthday and drop it back home, which had led to them finding out Jack's birthday and some of the more interesting presents he'd been given as well as some of the rather amusing stories of birthday night's out. Sadly they didn't differ all that much from his normal ones.

"Well it isn't today is it?"

"I don't think so." The Doctor sounded so cautious about telling Jack this information.

"A very merry unbirthday to you! Rose, you too!" Jack declared loudly.

Rose laughed. "Let's not forget you."

"A very merry unbirthday to us!" Jack bounced round the console room to pull Rose to her feet and give her an unbirthday kiss and spin her round.

"Stay back." The Doctor tried to warn Jack before he got his. The Doctor never stood a chance; both Rose and Jack gave him a kiss.

"So where shall we go to celebrate?" Jack smirked.
