A/N: This story is dedicated to my bff, Kelcey.
"No pirates...whaaa?"Jason pointed to the sign outside the movie theater, with an animation of a peg-legged pirate with a parrot on his shoulder.
"It means no pirating movies, Jason,"Nate tried to explain.
"What does that mean?"
"Like, when you take a video camera into the movie and record it,"said Shane.
"Ohhh,"Jason said, understanding crossing his face.
But after buying their popcorn, pop, and candy, Jason was at it again.
"I wonder what they would do if I came in dressed as a pirate?"
"Probably just look at you wierd,"Shane sighed.
"But it says 'No Pirates'. They do realize that can have a double-meaning, right?"
"They probably thought that most people would just read it, laugh, and move on with life, Jason,"Nate sighed, a little annoyed now. He just wanted to watch the movie. They all went inside the theater to watch the movie, sitting in seats near the front.
"I should do it,"Jason said suddenly, as the previews began rolling.
"Do what?"Shane gave him a confused look.
"Don't tell me we're still talking about the pirate thing,"Nate growled grumpily.
"I should come in dressed as a pirate. Chicks dig pirate-type guys. I mean, look at Jack Sparrow."
"Oh. My. God,"Nate rubbed his head, awed by the so-called stupidity of his older bandmate.
"Hey, it's a good idea!"Jason exclaimed defensively.
"Shut up, the movies starting!"someone behind them whispered harshly. Shane looked up at her and winked. She rolled her eyes, focusing her attention on the movie.
"People are so rude,"Shane sighed.
Around 2 weeks later...
"Jason, please don't,"Nate whined as Jason put the eye-patch on.
"Oh, come on, Nate, it'll be fun. Why? Are you ashamed of me?"he frowned, looking hurt.
"Yes. Yes I am,"Nate sighed.
"Cool,"Jason shrugged, putting on the finishing touches. He turned to Shane.
"What do you think?"
"Umm..."Shane tried not to laugh. Nate yelled from exasperation, and stormed out of the room.
About an hour later...
"Excuse me, ma'am, could I have some popcorn with that?"
The girl looked up to be face-to-face with Jason Hawkinson turned Jack Sparrow. She stared at him with wide eyes.
"Umm, yeah, sure..."she turned to get him popcorn, then shoved it into his hands, eager to get away from him. Nate gave her an apologetic smile.
"And he wonders why he gets teased at school,"Nate said under his breath.
"Dude! Pirate dude!"A girl yelled, pointing at Jason.
"Here we go,"Shane rolled his eyes.
"Hey,"Jason smiled, flirting with her. Or at least attempting to, in his bulky pirate clothes.
"Can I have your autograph?"She smiled. Nate raised an eyebrow. Awkward...
"Sure! Do you have something I can write with or something?"
"Uh..."
"Here,"A girl standing beside her piped up, digging a Sharpie and notepad out of her purse.
"Thanks, Laura,"the girl grinned, handing them to Jason. Jason signed his name quickly, also putting down a smiley face.
"So...what's your name?"he asked.
"Kelcey. You?"
"Jason."
"What movie are you going to see?"
"Umm, Pirates 2, actually,"Jason grinned.
"Me too! Sit by me?"
"Of course,"Jason laughed, walking beside Kelcey and into the theater, leaving his two bandmates there gaping. He turned around right before he went inside and smirked at them.
"Well. Wow,"Nate said.
"I guess chicks really do dig pirates,"Shane chuckled.
"Yeah. I guess,"Nate rolled his eyes, then went to watch the movie with his little brother.
