As stoic as Spock may seem, the young Vulcan strongly anticipates every Friday morning. Spock's excitement rapidly flourishes as Thursdays press on. Spock must internalize the excitement, since he is half Vulcan. Every Friday morning, Spock has the opportunity to reunite with his true love. Even though the young, innocent Vulcan has never experienced love, he is pretty sure he's in love, because his heart pounds precipitously and he feels as if he is going to collapse unconscious from shock every time his love is within his vicinity.

Sweet, black, and a touch of vanilla, is what gives his love a beautiful appearance. His love also has an endearing fragrance of cream brulee. Spock's focus shifted away from his work. Spock supported his head on his hand and he imagined his love, just in reach. While Spock was daydreaming, he dozed off to the sound of the computers beeping.

"Spock!" Captain Kirk hollered in his ear.

Spock jolted out of his daydream, and he looked over at Kirk with disoriented eyes. "My bad Captain. I just-"

"Enough! No apologies. You will see your love tomorrow. Back to work."

"Yes Sir!"

Spock jolted awake, and examined his watch that was sitting on the nightstand next to him. "Ah. Finally," he muttered to himself as he untangled himself from the mangled cocoon he made out of the sheets while he was asleep. Spock washed his hair and combed it back into its immaculate style. His uniform was neatly pressed, and he was freshly shaven. Everyday, Spock looks made up for work, except Fridays. Spock perfects his appearance for his true love on Fridays.

Spock walked into the dining hall, and saw his love literally steaming on the table, next to his fruit salad. Kirk was trying to avoid elbowing Spock's only love onto the floor. The aroma of cream brulee was overwhelming. Spock's heart rate is naturally over 200 beats per minute, and he could feel it raise to 300 BPM. Spock scurried to the table and picked up his love, embraced his true love by the handle, and drank all of the sweet, blackness out of it. Every Friday, the Starship Enterprise Chef rewards the crew with his homemade vanilla bean cream brulee coffee, and Spock fell head-over-heals for the flavor.

"So, ready to visit your love next Friday?" inquired the captain.

"Indeed." Exhaled Spock.
