(A/N: This is a poem I made for English class and I thought what the heck might as well post as a filler between the chapters that I'm supposed to be
uploading. I hope ya all enjoy!)

Red Rain

The clouds thundered and roared above me,
Silently I walked on the dirt road.
Walking effortlessly away from my problems, my pains.
Walking effortlessly away from my love, my family.
As is my path as a wanderer.

In the dark abyss of my past,
I've slashed, slain, and slaughtered all in cold bold.
She told me that I made it rain blood...red rain.
In the end she left me too and all there was left was me,
As is my path as a wanderer.

Meandering on the lonely dirt road The day of reckoning, rebirth, reconstruction has only just begun for me.
It rains...not red rain, but crystal clear cascades of the purest angel
tears.
My vow is no longer to kill, but to protect the living
As is my path as a wanderer.

(A/N: Please read and review. This poem was a spur of the moment thing, but I did impress the teacher with it. My friends recognized right away
that Kenshin was the speaker in here.)
