Ron and Hermione walked along a path that lead to an unknown destination. Their hands were entwined, and Ron wished this moment would never end. It was perfect so far, just two people deep in love enjoying a simple picnic, then a walk afterwards. Hermione sighed, loving Ron for setting this up. He could be an idiot sometimes, but she loved him with all of her heart. They walked some more, until they came to a dead end. But it was more than just a dead end. It was decorated with shimmering silver hearts and signs that said; I Love You.

Hermione gasped in shock. Ron did this? How much planning would this have had to take? She turned to him and engulfed him in a hug that spoke so many words. He smiled when she let him go, and took her hand.

"Hermione, I-I don't know where to start," He looked into her brown eyes. "Let me start by saying you are the most beautiful, intelligent woman I have ever met. And thank who's ever up there for allowing me to meet you; because I've been in love with you ever since I laid my eyes on you. When I saw that frizzy hair of your," He tugged on a lock. "I knew." He got down on one knee.

"I knew that you were the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with, the one who would be by my side no matter what. I can't imagine a world where you didn't exist, or you were with someone else. You are my soul mate, Hermione, that I know. You make my world spin, you make the sun shine, you make the birds sing, you are the love of my life. So now I have a question for you." He smiled at Hermione, who was crying.

"Hermione Jean Granger. Will you marry me?" And she was silent. Then she spoke.

"Ronald Weasley." She sounded like she was scolding him. But then she smiled. "Of course I'll marry you!" She jumped at him, hugging him and kissing him everywhere. Ron smiled at her and pulled her away.

"I will always love you, Hermione."
