In theory, that task was too easy. Youta only would give a gift to Ai-Chan as a proof of his gratitude for everything she had done for him. The biggest problem was the practice was harder than the his most negative thought.
Both, Youta and Ai-chan were in the kitchen blabbering about school, and related content, Their conversation was nice and light as it always was. So, Youta couldn't understand why his insecurity to give to her the gift that was hidden inside his jacket's pocket.. Even the mere idea of that movement was making him feel uneasy, unsure…
His anxious eyes were watching that joyful girl making a tea for them, while they were laughing due to their latest experience together. Since she arrived, Youta've found out a new sight to his life.
"She's… Like a star"
Youta thought higher than he believed, a gesture that made a suffocating silence between them. That nice atmosphere had disappeared, as soon as their tea was done.
"Youta, you're a bit strange, today. Are you fine?"
Moteuchi had noticed that Ai-Chan's voice sounded shy, an uncommon phenomenon that gave some courage to him. With a cup of tea in had, he drank that green and sweet liquid with a genuine satisfaction. Then, he stood up and touched her shoulder softly.
"Ai-Chan, thank you so much for everything you are doing for me. It's not enough, but I hope you like it. It's a demonstration of my gratitude."
Youta took off a pair of earrings from his pocket, and delivered them to an astonished Video Girl. She gazed that two earrings protected by a light blue cover, smiled and said clearly happy.
"You're an idiot, but I really love idiots as you"
Before he could reply, Ai-Chan jumped into him and kissed his cheek in a slow pace, what made both hit the ground. Everything with her was uncertain, magical and rare. Youta was a lucky guy, after all.
