The day was cloudy and could start to rain at any second, but Silver didn't care. He was just minding his own business, wandering through Johto to train his Pokemon.
Kotone was as well, but somehow she managed to find Silver walking a few paces ahead of her. Silver turned his head just in time to notice a smile play on her face once she confirmed it was him.
"Hey, Silver!" Kotone said, waving to him while smiling. Silver slightly blushed at the girl. Why was she following him?
"Hey," Silver muttered as a drop of water fell onto Kotone's hat. More droplets of water began to fall from the sky. Silver held out his hand as water fell onto it, while Kotone was confused at the sudden rain.
It soon became a downpour and Kotone held onto her hat.
"No! I don't have my umbrella!" She cried. She didn't want to get all wet and the nearest Pokemon center was miles away.
Silver noticed the girl's dislike for the rain and took off his jacket. He threw it to Kotone.
"Take is so you can stop whining," Silver said, blushing and looking away from her. It was hard for him to show his feelings, but he tried to be nice to the girl. Kotone blushed at how kind Silver was. He was usually so mean that an act of kindness seemed to never come from him.
Silver turned from Kotone, heading back on his way as he was getting drenched in the rain. He's going to catch a cold because of me, Kotone thought. She rushed over to the boy and put the jacket over his head.
Silver blushed at how close she was, and blushed even more when she grabbed onto his arm.
"We can both share your jacket, Silver," She said happily. Silver didn't say anything, but he hid a smile from her. No way was he going to let her see him smile. They walked off together into the closest town.
In a nearby lake, a Kyogre was resting there, looking at the sight between the two.
Note: Based on a comic. Not really a fan of the pairing, but I wanted to write this.
