Reigen is having a very weird day. Nothing bad has happened, no, just... weird. Every single client he's had today has given him a hug. If it were after his usual exorcism, he could understand. He was no stranger to the more physical forms of gratitude (he was getting very good at his massages after all) but that wasn't the case.

One moment he would be talking about the courses as he paced a little, and then as soon as he was within reach the client would wrap their arms around the man. Every single time Reigen would stop and look at the client, and they'd have a sort of indulgent smile on their face and insist he carry on as usual.

Reigen would, but only because he was a professional and he would continue to act like one.

The first time it happened, he thought it was just a fluke. The second, maybe a coincidence, but after leaving the office and getting swamped with hugs from random strangers on his way to lunch, he knew something was up.

By the time Mob arrived for work, Reigen had barricaded himself behind his desk to keep his distance from himself and any potential clients. At the sound of the door opening, Reigen looked suspiciously at the person who entered, immediately relaxing when he realized it was just his student. Same old reliable Mob, who he could always trust to be fairly predictable and consistent.

Except today, Mob seemed a little different. Nervous in an anticipatory way and stealing little glances at Reigen as he worked to get his homework out and his desk straightened.

"So..." Mob started before Reigen could ask anything, monotone sounding somewhat hesitant. "How was your day, Shishou? Anything... interesting happen?"

Reigen fixed his gaze more firmly on his student, suddenly getting very suspicious at the odd question.

"Yeeees..." He drew the sound out, raising his eyebrow at Mob who was studiously keeping his attention on his homework. Even though he hadn't written a single word, not even his name. "You wouldn't happen to know anything about it, would you my faithful pupil?"

Mob looked up with a small mischievous smile, finger raised in the manner that indicated he was using his powers. A moment later, a piece of paper with tape at the top floated from behind Reigen's back and into his line of sight.

Hug Me, written in Mob's childish handwriting for everyone to see.

Mob dropped the paper onto the desk, returning to his homework with a satisfied smile on his lips and leaving his employer to gape at the piece of paper that had apparently been stuck to his back all day.

"Happy April Fools, Shishou."

A/N: What do you mean it isn't April Fools day anymore?

I would think Mob would want to participate, but he's way too nice to do any kind of mean prank, so this is my alternative.
