The New Kid
It was a Monday morning at Degrassi Community School, in Mr. Simpson's homeroom, it was the usual thing, Paige chatting with Hazel, Jimmy complaining to Spinner about his smelly armpits, and Ashley and Ellie were talking about how boring their weekend was.
Then the bell rang.
Mr. Simpson- Good morning everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend. Although mine is a different story with mine since my wife has been having morning sickness.
Everyone laughed until someone came into the classroom.
Mr. Simpson- Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Everyone, this is Jared Kirkman, he moved here from New Jersey, so make him feel welcome here!
Ellie was just looking at him since he walked through the door. He had short-brown hair, and was wearing a blue sweater, and baggy jeans, and he had freckles on his face, and he also had an earring on one ear, he was very handsome.
Mr. Simpson- So would you like to introduce yourself Jared?
Jared- Umm, sure. Hi, I love to skateboard, play basketball, listen to music, and I hope that I make some friends here!
Mr. Simpson- Thank you Jared! You can sit next to Ellie. Ellie, raise your hand. Ellie?
Ellie was just staring at Jared, and wasn't paying any attention to what Mr. Simpson was saying.
Mr. Simpson- ELLIE!
Ellie- Huh?
Mr. Simpson- Show Jared where you are so he knows where to sit.
Ellie- Oh, ok sorry.
Ellie raised her hand smiling at Jared.
Jared sat on the seat next to Jared
Jared- Hey.
Ellie- Hi.
Ellie was blushing, she was so in love!
Ashley- It looks like someone's into the new kid!
