Chapter 1
I walked for miles as I thought what I was going to do since the Spook died and without Alice because she was taken for more witch training and the Maklin leaders also made an arranged marriage so they could use her and a boy named Aden Thander. They're going to make the king and queen of the Maklin clan and hope to expand to all the clans in the area. I need to save Alice and I'm not sure how with only a one man army. I finally went home to a none home which is in Ireland now that my county is ransacked and destroyed. The Spook and I built a home by hand it wasn't much but four bedrooms, a parlor, a kitchen, and a library. Our library quickly filled up with the help of Alice writing down many witch spells, remedies, and traditions. Also having new conditions with the unknown paranormal we learned much about the Celtic horrors and fiends. The real Fiend is still out there, but we have gotten in contact with Grimalkin and she has said that she would help with the silver stakes to kill the Fiend.
Without Alice is hard being the bad that I am and having no one to talk to but the dogs I have. It's offal lonely. The Spook death was followed shortly by Alice's kidnapping. It was just without the Spook now without Alice I feel like I'm dying. It all started with the Malkin witches starting trouble again. It was all part of their plan, but they wanted to kill me too. Alice almost died to protect me and I still broke my arm. I soon realized that I was the new Spook. I've been looking for help, like a new apprentice. I truly wasn't done with my training, but I learned enough to be my own Spook and to have my own apprentice, at least I thought so. Also the Spook rewrote many of his books and I'm almost done with all the books. I also started my own dairy like the Spook had, you know until he….died.
I have seen a few kids who were not ready to take on the job. I was on my way to one right now and the kid seemed unwilling but it's worth a shot. His name is Alex. I know the family also has seven girls along with seven sons. As I knocked on the door I realized it was almost night time so we would have to hurry.
