Basically, Link and Zelda get married, and Link becomes King of Hyrule, and turns into a different person. Zelda is sad and runs away and meets a friend who eventually becomes more than a friend. Rated M for future chapters, Yuri.

Prologue

"FUCK YOU!"

"Zelda, let me explain"

"Explain what?, considering ever since we became married and you became King, you've been a total dick."

"I had to swear an oath of loyalty to follow all the rules"

"You disgust me; this is coming from the man that told me to follow my dreams and to screw the rules"

"Yeah?, well this rule is for your safety."

"Safety?, since when did you care for my safety, you used to break me out of this place remember?"

"Those days are over forever"

"I hate you"

"Well, what do you want from me?"

"I just want my Link back"

This conversation replayed over and over in my head, as I rode my horse across the Hyrule countryside, in the dark of night. With the freezing wind hitting my face, which was smeared with half-frozen tears, I rode at a breakneck place, away from my home, away from the man I once loved, away from… everything.
