Summary: She was nothing special. She woke up, went to work and had a mediocre life now that her Feudal Adventures were over… That is, until she finds out she had been working under hundreds of vampires.

I hate my life… Kagome thought in vain, kicking her good for shit computer.
Gianna tsked, "That doesn't help anything, Kagome!"
The computer chose that moment to reboot and Kagome gave her cousin a wicked grin.
"Yeah, yeah, I know. You don't have to say anything." Giana pouted, pulling her dark hair back into a sophisticated ponytail. Her bosses demanded that she looked prim and proper at all times.
Kagome rolled her eyes, "You've got the brand new computer and I've got this ancient monster."
"You were hired today! Considering your previous records with technology it's a wonder you haven't already broken your computer…"
Indeed. Kagome had been sent to Italy, to live with her well off cousin and hopefully get a jumpstart on her own life. Luckily Gianna had been able to find her a job.
"And look at you! You're hardly dressed for work!" Gianna almost screamed, seeing Kagome's baggy sweatpants touch the floor and her less than decent tank top almost fall off her shoulder.
"I remember you telling me we had to get to work at eight not six." Kagome scowled. Pulling her cami on and fastening them around her bust.
"The early bird gets the worm." Gianna said, haughtily. She was dressed in dark pin striped trousers and a ruffled white blouse. "Besides, I told you that we would have to get up earlier for the first day because you have to meet your employers!"
"Mmm…"
"Oh god! Here they come! Remember what I told you."
"Yeah, I'll be sure not to cut myself on anything right now…" Kagome remarked sarcastically, remembering the rules Gianna drilled in her head. It seemed like everyone here had some sort of hemophobia.
"Shh!" Gianna stomped on Kagome's foot, causing her to yelp in pain.
"Good morning!" Gianna smiled brightly for her employers.
Kagome rubbed her foot, glared at her cousin and stood up to meet them. "Ohayo gosaimasu! My name is Kagome Higurashi!" She said, bowing and reverting back to her Japanese speech when she met people.
To say she was surprised when she saw them was an understatement. There were three well dressed men in front of her. The one in the middle looked oddly amused while the other two looked like they could care less. It wasn't their expressions that made her stare.
While she hated to judge people on the way they looked, these men were hard not to pay attention to. All three were extremely pale and (for lack of better wording) extremely handsome. While she was used to her share of well looking men, like Sesshomaru and Kouga, she was a woman afterall.
The man in the middle extended his hand, "My name is Aro."
Kagome looked at him questioningly, her dark hair in a slight disarray rolling off her shoulder.
Gianna, still beside her, elbowed Kagome and told her to shake it.
"Oh, sorry." She said, grabbing his hand.
The moment their hands touched Kagome felt two things: the oddly chilling feeling of his hands and a brutal push on her mental walls. Immediately she knew that the beings in front of her were not human.
