Gamer was asleep after a long day. Suddenly, he started tossing and turning. He was having another nightmare. But this time, it's different.
In Gamer's Dream:
Gamer was running through the forest. But he had a look of wild terror in his eyes. He was being chased by a dark figure. He looked behind him and saw that the figure was closing in. The reason why he didn't teleport away was because everytime he tried to, the figure used its telekinesis to stop him. He didn't know what it was, but it seemed familiar. Suddenly, he looked forward and saw that he was trapped. He looked again and saw the figure stalk towards him with an evil smirk.
He gasped in fear, "N-no. G-get aw-way f-from m-me." But the figure just kept moving forward. After a few seconds, the figure was close enough to be seen clearly. Gamer was shocked to see that the figure that had been chasing him, was his own Dark form.
Gamer asked, "W-what?"
Dark Gamer chuckled evilly and said, "You can't run from me. I'm a part of you. I know what you want."
Gamer's shock gave way to anger and he yelled, "No! I WILL NOT GIVE IN TO MY RAGE FOREVER!"
Dark Gamer replied, "I know what's in your heart. You're angry at the universe for giving you such a tragic past, and angry at Gregory and Leroy for bullying you. You're angry at Adam for stopping your prank a few days ago."
Gamer said, "But my life's happy now. I have a girlfriend, I've got friends, I've been reunited with my sister, and I found out I'm the Destined One."
Dark Gamer just snickered, "And you think that's enough?"
Gamer shot back, "Yes. What else is there?"
Dark Gamer chuckled again as he said, "Getting revenge. You know you want to kill Gregory and Leroy. So just do it. Give in to your rage."
Gamer couldn't respond. He was thinking about what they've done to him and he gasped, "N-no. I w-will n-not k-kill th-them." But he could feel himself slipping.
Dark Gamer replied, "Yes you will. Just give in to your rage. It's pointless." Gamer still tried to resist, but the more his Dark form spoke, the more he could feel himself slipping. Soon, he gave in and started going on a rampage of destruction.
Outside of Gamer's dream:
Katie heard Gamer whimpering. She went into his room and saw him tremble. He said, "Give up you fool! N-no, g-get aw-way f-from m-me, I-I'm a m-monster." She tried shaking him to wake him up, but it wasn't working. She called Jasmine for help.
When Jasmine answered Katie said, "Jasmine, Gamer's having a nightmare and I can't snap him out of it."
Jasmine replied, "I'll be right there." A few seconds later, there was a flash of light and she was in Gamer's room. She went to Gamer's bed and rubbed his quills. She said, "Gamer, wake up."
Gamer's whimpers turned to purrs but he said, "I-I'm s-sorry."
Jasmine said, "Gamer, I'm here. Wake up." Suddenly, Gamer's eyes flew open. He looked and saw Jasmine next to him.
He asked, "Jasmine, what are you doing here?"
Jasmine replied, "Katie called and said you were having a nightmare."
Gamer shuddered in fear as he said, "I-it w-was s-s-s-so h-horrible. I g-gave into m-m-m-my r-rage and c-c-c-caused a lot of destruction." He started crying.
Jasmine rubbed his quills again as she replied, "It's okay. I'm here."
Gamer asked between purrs, "C-can you s-sleep with me tonight?"
Jasmine smiled as she replied, "Sure." She turned to Katie, who just smiled as she went into her room. Jasmine then took off her shoes and snuggled close to Gamer.
