What with the

out the door
when Ron did.
But despite that
he can't help
but think about a girl
with fiery hair
and brown eyes that shine
(even though he really should be
finding Horcruxes
figuring out how to defeat Voldemort
fathoming exactly how Hermione's mind works)
but even though there's
deathdestructiondevastation
there's an image of her
stuck in his head
and her name repeating itself

like a shadow hanging over him.
It's not Voldemort though, not really
Or his own death
Or losing Hermione and Ron forever
(and he's ever so guilty for that)
