Nina POV

"But Mr. Sweet!" I whined to my principal.

"Your scholarship ended, your gran needs to pay for this now, you don't have enough money to pay for this"

"Alright. Bye." I said walking out and back to the house. I took out my laptop and typed in "flight tickets Liverpool to Miami" and chose the most reasonable flight, only 150 pounds. I can ask Amber for some money.

"Hey, dinner's ready!" Joy called from the hallway downstairs. I went downstairs and sat.

"Hey, Nina, why are you upset?" Jerome asked me.

"Oh, I'm not." I lied.

"Nina, you're a terrible liar, tell me what's wrong!" He demanded.

"I'll tell you when everyone's in here." I replied. Soon, everyone was in the room.

"Guys, I have something important to say." I started, "I'm leaving, well just for a month, but could be longer."

Amber started crying. "Why?" she managed to choke out.

"Finances." I said.

"Wait, I thought you were here on scholarship?" Joy added.

"I am, well I was. It ended last term." I replied.

"What? Nina I NEED to be with you at ALL times, especially with what happened last year." Eddie said. Alfie covered his mouth.

"What happened last year?" Mick asked. Mara nodded in agreement.

"Oh, we found out we were brother and sister." I lied, again.

"Oh okay." Mick is sooooo gullible.

"Anyways, my plane leaves tomorrow at 9:00 a.m." I said and went upstairs to pack and called my school in Miami to give Amber a surprise.

"Hello?" I said into the receiver

"Hi who is this?" the lady said.

"Nina Martin, I'm a senior I was wondering if you had an extra spot."

"Yes, for who?" the lady said.

"my friend, Amber May Millington."

"Okay. I'll have a spot ready for Monday."

"thanks."

I walked back into my room.

"Amber, how would you like going to school with me in America?" I asked.

"Yes Yes Yes a million times yes!" Amber said. She called her dad. Started packing.

"You don't need your uniform, we wear our own clothes." I said noticing her packing her uniform.

"ohh, yay!" she squealed.

~Next day~

"Amber, wakey, wakey! It's 7:30!" I said.

"I'm already ready!" I heard her say.

I got in the shower and got comfy clothes on. Hot pink yoga pants and a black t-shirt with a hot pink jacket and my black PUMA sneakers. I pull my hair back into a loose pony tail.

~20 mins later~

"Amber, come on!" I said as I walk down the stairs lugging my luggage. I see her actually wearing something semi comfortable. The same yoga pants I have but with a small star on the side a pink AERO t-shirt and pink sneakers. And she has her hair down.

~in Miami~

"Ambs, you stay here, I'm gonna go prank my sister." I said. I rang the doorbell to my house my older sister, Kate, opened up.

"What are you doing home now?" she asked.

"Kate, I'm pregnant." I joked.

"My baby sister is what? Oh Gran is gonna love this."

"I'm joking." I said laughing.

"You little biotch!" she said.

"Come on Amber!"

We walked to my room, ahh I missed this place, looks like Gran's already set amber's air-matress.

"Just put your bags there." I said as the doorbell rang, Kate answered.

"Neens! It's Aria, Meriah and Nick!" she screamed, my 3 best friends walked in. Aria had her long dark hair put in a high side bun, Meriah had her blonde hair in a ponytail and Nick is a boy, Amber seemed to like him and whenever she likes someone she passes out, oh crap
