"Who does she think she is? She can't come to my territory and change things! The Candy Kingdom doesn't even have rule over Red Rock Cliffs anyway", Marceline fumed to herself.
A some time passed and she was finally crossing over to the Verdant Plains, where Finn and Jake lived. She decided against visiting them since she had business with the Princess that had to be taken care of immediatly. She wanted to walk in the grass now that the land wasen't on fire, so she slipped off her shoes and enjoyed the cool grass in between her toes. That made her journey through Verdant Plains much more pleasant.
She finally reached the draw bridge to the city. If Bubbledumb made her come all this way she wasen't leaving without the Princess submissing and keeping the bridge the way it is. She stormed through the candy streets mutttering to herself about how inconsiterate the ruler of this kingdom was. The candy people watched with fear as she passed. She threw open the door of the castle and flung peppermint butler to the side as she made her way to the Princess.
Princess Bubblesgum was in her lab working with a few of her subjects on a new project of hers when Marceline the Vampire Queen burst through the door in a ovbious rage. She was starteled at first but she knew what this was about and was prepared for the fight.
"Marceline! How dare you barge in like this!"
"What's it to you Princess! You are planning on defiling my territory, so why can't I do the same!
"I am ruler of this kingdom, you shall treat me with the res-"
"You don't deserve any of my respect! You know I won't let you fix that bridge! Bring it on, Bubblegum!"
"No, it's a safey hazard to anyone crossing it! I won't let innocent people get hurt just because you don't want the bridge to be fixed."
"None of your subjects even go to the Cliffs! What's the real reason?"
"I DON'T WANNA SEE YOU GET HURT!," screamed Princess Bubblegum at the top of her lungs, scaring everone in the room.
"I'm a vampire, remember? I can fly," said a very confused Marceline.
O-oh yes, well then I guess I don't have to worry anymore, Bubblegum whispered.
"Face it Princess! You just wanted a reason to see me," Marceline said slyly catching on and inching towards the pink-haired girl.
"N-n-n-no! Not true!," stuttered the Princess her face turning a bright red on her usually pink complexion. The candy people in the room watched with intense interest.
