Dark Shadows: Lightning Crashes

The story picks up after the events of the Leventhians and when Barnabas comes back from the future. Also I wanted to create a story in how things could have been wrapped up and what would have happened with each of the main characters, Barnabas, Julia, Maggie, Quentin, Roger, Carolyn, Elizabeth, Angelique and Nicholas Blair. Prelude:

As lightning comes crashing down, the mist rises from the lawn of Collinwood Estate. Of the people who live on the estate, they all have suffered many blows from the recent events that have unfolded.

Nicholas Blair returned once more to Collinwood with a dark love on his mind: To take Maggie Evans, governess to young David Collins, as his bride and second ruler of the Underworld, was driven away by the return of Quentin Collin's ghost. The Ghost of Quentin became bewitched by Maggie and felt to protect her but when Barnabas restored the time line, Quentin's ghost disappeared from the estate and from Maggie.

Strange beings called Leventhians came to Collinport and tried to wipe out Collinsport. Setting their differences aside, Angelique and Barnabas sent the Leventhians to the deepest depths of the Underworld all the while hoping they would send with them Nicholas Blair. But Nicholas Blair managed to slip through their fingers once again.

The matriarch of the household, Elizabeth Collins Stoddard is still plauged by the events and sees that there might be hope in her daughter Carolyn and young nephew David. Carolyn grew stronger with the support of her family after loosing her husband Jeb Hawkes and after coming out of a deep depression, has taken a interest into tarot readings and studying the paranormal with Professor Stokes. All the while Carolyn longs for her husband, she doesn't know that he still lives after surviving the fall from Widow's Hill.

Roger Collins is still busy with Collins Enterprises and has figured out Barnabas's secret after the fall of the Leventhians. Keeping it to himself, Roger has decided that he will do anything to keep his family safe, even if it means drastic measures. With or without Barnabas Collins around.

After the death of Amanda Harris and remembering his past, Professor Stokes decided that Quentin should be hypnotized into thinking he is still Grant Douglas and took his rediscovered painting and gave it to Barnabas to keep it safe. But unknown to everyone, a darkness still looms in the distance and and possible hope if Barnabas and Quentin can do anything to stop it.
