Dear Ava, the boat ride to the ship, 8:47 A.M.
5-20-02
We are currently leaving Montresser. We are on the boat ride over to Montresser space port. This ship goes slower than a solar surfer built for a five year old. I know that you would like the ride tho. It has a perfect view of the nebula west of the Benbow. I am about to reach the ship and I am excited. I am about to have the adventure of my life. The other day after I was arrested I thought of something. Do you remember the first time we met? We were six and you were on a run and bumped into me in the forest. I miss those days when life was so simple. I am currently sitting between a snoring hairy guy and a slimy nervous guy… Wish me luck, Gotta go, little boat 'bout to land. By the way, you should see what Is wearing…..Its hilarious but also embracing…

5-23-02, missing you…
I got this letter three days after you sent it. You should be well on your way by now. How is it? How's the voyage? The Benbow sure has been lonely without you. I miss my lunch break rides through the old lumber yards. In school you missed it. On Friday Jessica (the three eyed cat) beat up Katie (the slobbery dog) it was crazy all because of Jeremy Dunwoody! I bet if they saw his grandmother they'd turn the other way before you could say galaxy! I was taking a run yesterday and I thought of something so sudden I stopped quickly and stood there panting for the longest time. I then ran to the shed and pulled out my solar surfer (which was next to yours) and pulled open the back and opened the engine. I realized that if you swap the red wire with the blue wire it conserves more sunlight! I don't know… I just thought it was pretty cool. It allows the sunlight to come slower through the wires which not only helps you go at least go ten more miles faster (per hour) but helps conserve sunlight. I am trying not to think of you too much but it's hard. I see you everywhere and you've only been gone three days!? What am I going to do?
